Notes: Sumario: Durante los años del siglo XX que van desde los comienzos de la Aviación Militar hasta la década de 1960 siempre han estado presentes en la historia de la Aeronáutica Española, bien como aviadores militares o civiles, miembros de la gran familia Trenor, asentada en Valencia, en Asturias, en Canarias y en Barcelona, Trenor es un apellido ligado a emigrantes militares irlandeses que tomaron parte en la Guerra de la Independencia y que posteriormente se afincaron en diferentes partes de la Península. Por tanto es una familia española de origen irlandés, de marcada tradición militar que destacaron como comerciantes e industriales, emparentando con nobles linajes valencianos. El tronco inicial de la familia tuvo su residencia en el Palacio de los Barones de Alácuas, en el centro histórico. Con los años acumularon importantes propiedades en la ciudad y en sus alrededores,con una ingente actividad empresarial que contribuyó de una manera decisiva al desarrollo industrial y agrícola del País Valenciano Diversos títulos nobiliarios les fueron concedidos por sus méritos, directamente a miembros de la familia, habiendo otros recaído en ellos por sus matrimonios o herencias.
