Perim (Isla)

Tiene una línea de costa de unos 8 km, una superficie de 14 km2, y una altura máxima de algo menos de 70 metros. No dispone de agua y solo la habitan permanentemente unos 500 habitantes."

"Perim (Arabic: [Barm]), also called Mayyun in Arabic, is a volcanic island in the Strait of Mandeb at the south entrance into the Red Sea, off the south-west coast of Yemen and belonging to Yemen. The island of Perim divides the strait of Mandeb into two channels. The island was occupied by Great Britain from 1857 to 1967."
